Specifics of Individual Planning of Diakonie ČCE Center Rolnička
PROCHÁZKOVÁ, Milena
The topic of this bachelor thesis is the process of individual planning in social services. The main aim of my bachelor thesis is to find out how the individual planning is carried out in Diakonia ČCE, in the Rolnička centre, in social services in Tábor. With regard to the main objective of the thesis, I have chosen three research questions. Who is involved in the preparation of the individual plan of the client? What experience do key workers have with the individual planning process? The empirical section describes the research for which a qualitative research strategy was chosen. The data required for the research was collected through semi-structured interviews. The research sample consisted of ten informants from among the key workers of the individual social services of the Rolnička centre in Tábor. Subsequent data analysis was conducted using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis. Five themes emerged from this analysis. These are: the key worker's experience of the individual planning process at his/her workplace, the importance of the training course for the course of individual planning, how the key worker perceives the client's autonomy during individual planning, how the key worker perceives the client during individual planning, and the key worker's relationship with his/her key clients. The research showed that the method of person-centred individual planning called Map is used in the social services of the Rolnička centre in Tabor. The themes of the IPA analysis then led to the answers to the remaining two research questions. The client, the client's key worker, the social worker, the head of the social service and in some cases the client's parents or guardians are mainly involved in drawing up the individual plan. Key workers then described their relationships with their key clients, their perceptions of the client's autonomy, or the client's feelings during the individual planning process. Training in individual planning was also significant from their perspective. The information obtained from the research of this bachelor thesis could serve as a basis for supplementing the existing methodologies of individual planning of social services in the Rolnička centre in Tábor.

In the practical part of qualitative research a semi-structured interview with employees of the Kolín Parish Charity and the Kolín Roman Catholic Parish was applied. This research reflects the relationship and areas of connection between the two institutions. The research has shown the connection between the Roman Catholic parish of Kolín and the Parish Charity of Kolín. There are elements of diaconia in this relationship, but this relationship needs care in the future and can be deepened.

The theological basis for the charitable activities of the Christian Church. The thesis focuses on the charitable work of the Christian Church today known as Diakonia, characterised as a service of love to others, which is currently considered one of the key, i.e. constitutive elements, of the fundamental structure of the Church. Based on analyses of the relations between theological disciplines, particularly Biblical, systematic theology and Christian social ethics, it identifies the Christian Church's idea of charity as the communion of love in the service of those who suffer. (The) first chapter describes how the Synod functions within the church and briefly mentions the issue of coping with communism, especially how some pastors got involved politically. I also touch on the events of the Velvet Revolution. The next chapter focuses on an analysis of the Synod's work based on classifying the synod's resolutions into different catogories. The results are given in three diagrams. The goal of this analysis is to show which types of resolutions dominate and which types are more unusual. The third more extensive chapter deals with the most important topics being resolved in the synod. It describes the origin of …, its progress and consequences for the church. To show the character of the ČCE Synod, I highlight its internal discussions regarding church law, the practical and theological discussions on …(church education, ordination and baptism…). Priest Václav Šubert significantly contributed to the foundation of a first diaconic institution, girls' school or an orphanage in Krabčice, the birthplace of diaconia in the Czech lands. He and our first two deaconesses, Marie Karafiátová and Eleanora Kašparová, occupy more space in this work. In the next part, a historical development of Czech Diaconia...
